Fall

Leaves are falling from the threes.
                                                 like in winter everything freez
                                                 Yellow, red, Oranges, Brown.
Leafs are chruncing on the ground.
when I^m walking down the road
I hear, I feel cold wind that blows
I smell, I see Mushroom and air
Then we know the fall is here..

QUOTE

Viewpoints, task 1.

” it kills you to see them grow up. But I guess it would kill you quicker if they didn`t “
- Barbara Kingsolver (1955), American writer.

I got a quote on school, and it was my job to understand the meaning behind it. “It kills you to see them grow up”. When I hear that sentence I think that it’s hard for every parent to see their child grow up, from being a little boy or girl to see them going through different phases of their childhood. The parents have a lot of responsibility of their children and it’s probably hard to see them moving out, and get their own Family.
When parent says that it kills them to see their child grow up, I`m thinking of those parents who never get the chance to see their kids growing old. People who lose their children to cancer, other diseases and car accidents are things that really hurt and kill….

Trip to Jotunheimen

Heeey!

I`m finaly back from School trip to Jotunheimen with my class. We went to some different places in the beautiful country, Norway. We started the trip at 08.30 from Re on Tuesday, and drove bus in more than three hours to Lillehammer. Here we got time to eat at Mc donald`s and shop dinner, breakfast and lunch for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Then we drove further to a place called "Helvete". Here we first stopped and watched and learned about the puthols. Puthols are BIG holes in the ground that have occurred because of the ice- age. After "Helvete" we drove one more hour and tok the third break at "Kvitskriuprestinn". Here we watched columns of glacial material, whitch are the only columns made of glacial material we have in Northern Europe. Then we drove straight to the camp "Heidal", where we sleept in tents.

Day 2. we woke up early and dressed up i wetsuits. We went to a river called "Sjoa" where half of the class tried rafting. It was sooo funny!! After rafting, several hours in bus passed until we finaly arrived the place where we visited a 6000 years old icedrift. We also went to a museum, were we learned about animals and the ice-age. The last 2 days we stayed at "Bøverdalen Vandrehjem".

Day 3. We spent whole day 3 at the trip to "Galdhøpiggen" Norway`s highest mountain. The mountain is 2469 meters above sea level, so it`s pretty high. I think I never been so tired and exhausted before in my entire life.  But it was totally worth it!!
All in all, I think we used 7 hours up and down the mountain, but it was 7 hours of my life I`ll never forget :)
